The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) advocates for research among the various legislative and executive agencies. In addition, the SPSP Government Relations Committee monitors federal legislation affecting science, advocates for funding for social and personality psychology, and collaborates with other social science organizations to do the same.
